I could go for some rabbit stew right now. Never understood how rabbit and squirrel haven't caught on at the "meat & three" joints. Especially those that serve lacey cornbread & fried quail.

I haven't tried squirrel. Sure, quail is delicious !!!
Breaded, fried and smothered in brown gravy with onions over white rice.
Mom would say, "Young man, don't you dare bring those things into this house!"
Granny would say, "You've already cleaned them? Aww.....how do you want me to fix 'em?"
