Wooden AK furniture

Im working on an Arsenal i recently picked up. A few years back I had no problem finding Surplus Wooden handguards and such, now not so much. It's either slim pickings or it's much more expensive then I remember. What sites are y'all getting yours or where?

I just pick up a MAK 90 with black poly furniture, would like to go with wood, at least have as an option.

Desert fox sales has surplus furniture instock. Surplus Bulgarian sets run about $50 for a 4 piece set including hardware. They usually need refinishing or a good cleanup at the minimum. Romanian is somewhat scarce for some reason but you can piece together a set from Apex gun parts. Russian surplus has a ton of Russian sets but be prepared to pay. There's always akfiles for the secondary market. Hth.

Yeah, the way the instructions are written when signing up, it seems they don't deal with any bs or not following directions. lol.

You are correct. They also don't take to kind to low balling either.

APEX has a rotating supply of stock sets. AK files will help you a lot I'm sure. lots of guys with lots of kits.
