Home depot. I actually had an off duty store clerk get after me for cutting it myself. I waited for someone for a while, but used my pocket knife to cut what I thought I needed. He said, "safety precautions!" I replied, "customer service!"

Off amazon. You have to whittle the center of the spool a little to get the clock motor to fit.

Thanks! Also, I'm debating putting a thick coat of polyurethane on the top or just a glass top. Leaning toward the glass top. So far, I'm $24 into it.

I spent a while refinishing and can suggest several coats of quality 'EXTERIOR' varnish instead of poly. More time but a much better finish. Sand between coats w/grey 220 grit and wipe with t shirt type rag and mineral spirits till dry. Recoat 3/4 times. NO problems with spills or dents...ever.
