Work smarter not harder!

I got tired of messing around in my shed, having no room and barley any light to see what I'm doing.
This year we're working smarter, not harder.
Put a gambrel in the garage!
Now I have so much more room to work, can wash it easier if needed, and I have way more light to see what I'm doing.

Was pretty much doing it a foot off the ground previously, with not much room, and no light besides flash lights and lamps lol

Man this is gonna make everything so much easier!
We'll see how long till I get an email from the HOA 🤣 anyone wanna take bets??

I moved into the garage this year as well, so much better! I bought an 54 quart electric cooler , I break the deer down into quarters put it in the cooler at 35 degrees and process next day.

Yupp so much better!
I am gonna get either an old fridge to hang them in to dry age for a bit, or I'm gonna do the same after letting it hang a day packed with ice.

I stopped dry aging about three years ago, to me the meat is better . I cool it to 35 over night because it’s easier to remove the fat and silver skin. But before the cooler I would process same day of kill.

Hahah yeah, I've had the door down ever since I took the picture lol
It's colder in there with the garage door down anyways.
