Working out

I've been eating better than I used to. Still working on finding the right balance of not being hungry all the time, can eat at work easily (in an ambulance) and what I can afford.

I've been drinking more water than soda but still drink too much of that. I've been averaging 3-4 days at the gym until the last couple weeks while I've been sick.

My routine if I can even call it that is 30 min cardio on a bike/stair machine/treadmill. And then alternating days of arms/abs/legs

Now that spring is coming, in theory anyway, ill be getting back on my mountain bike a few times a week as well. I just downloaded that myfitnesspal app and ill see if that helps me any

What is a good whey protein that isn't too expensive? And a good fat burning/energy pill that isn't too expensive either?

I know that cheating out isn't the best thing but I do have to keep all this within a reasonable budget

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate--Water is cheap and you really don't need anything else. Eat Clean and stay away from the crap.

If you are not lifting heavy there is no need for supplements but I can't emphasize enough the importance of drinking a lot of water before, during and after your workout. Cardio is fine and should be done for at least 20 minutes a day but for muscle development you need to lift, squat, lunge, push, etc. no fewer than 4 days a week for at least an hour after your cardio. If you can afford to, get a personal trainer for a while to show you how to properly perform the various different exercises.

Oh yeah, switch it up. Don't let your muscles get used to your workouts. Keep them guessing and get 8 hours of sleep a night. You tear muscles in the gym and build them in the bed.

I've been using the machines instead of free weights so I am less likely to use bad form. When I build my strength up some I'm planning on switching over to free weights
