"There will be costs for any military intervention in Ukraine," There's the line!
But only one of the high school kids has balls!Nah, that's just Obama's way of talking tough but not meaning it. When the Russians march in (they already did) and cross the imaginary line, Obama will back track and say he was merely stating a fact that "military intervention" costs money. POTUS has learned to draw retractable lines.....at least he learned something with Syria.
Putin will provoke Obama just because the he knows he can. The bullies always know who they can pick on with no consequences; we are literally watching two high school kids playing on the world stage because they have uncontrollable EGOs. Just sad!
Any guess's as to what he say's. I bet he draws another line in the sand.
Re: Russia invades Ukraine.
The Obama administration angrily responded to what the President called "a flagrant disregard of international norms and standards" by announcing another 50,000 cut in U.S. troop strength. "That ought to send them a message" the president quipped.
Administration officials said the President was mulling over a "strong response to Putin." Rumored responses included calling Putin 'a racist" and potentially unilaterally expanding the Affordable Health Care Act (Obama Care) to all "undocumented immigrants."
At a hastily called Friday 5 p.m. press conference President Obama warned Russia that there could be a "strong response from the international community" with many potential options, up to, and including sending President Putin an original copy of John Lennon's "Imagine."
