Would you rather have 5 shots or 16 shots?

This!! That kind of situation I would probably have a AK with me albeit not very practical carrying it while working around the house and yard

****. Put that AK/AR on a sling and keep it on at all times. If you're isolated and have a real concern then be as armed as you can. You never want to be in a position where you need and don't have it.

Simulated gun fights while practicing at the range and reloading once every few months does not effectively train you for when you are in a real gun battle...it takes muscle memory (approx) 5000 times drawing from your holster and reloading to be pretty effective when that time comes.....cause we all know a welll layed out battle plan is great until the first bullet is fired! My .02 cents worth

So you witnessed him doing this? Or you assume , because he was your tenant, he pulled your AC ? Maybe it was one of his friends that visited him for a little party time . Have a bail bondsman and a GOOD lawyers card with you when you confront him, Good Luck

While I agree with the statement that "No battleplan survives contact with the enemy" and agree more training, especially under stress is better... even necessary, to gain & maintain proficiency.
Even a little training is better than sitting on the couch eating Cheetos while playing BlackOps.

i carry my S&W 5 shot, my Glock is for fun at the range

p.s. Where's the poll?.....lol

but going up against a tweaker with a .45, take the glock! 5 shots may not stop him

I have not assumed anything and where did I say I was trying to confront him? I called the Sheriffs Dept as soon as I found it missing. They sent a deputy out who filled out a report and turned it over to the investigators. SOMEONE was on my property and committed the criminal act and if they come back I will not be caught defenseless. They may never catch who ever it was. Am I also just supposed to cower at home while they come back and rip the wires from the walls also?
