WOW! I lost some Fudd status today....

....with a used S&W Performance Center M&P 15-22 picked up today on a whim.

This rifle is fantastic! I'm usually a 1960's or earlier wood & steel .22 guy and I've long poo poo'ed the plastic AR copies in 22LR but I am HEALED! This little rifle has adequate sight radius with Magpul BUIS, AR ergonomics, great handling and very strong accuracy potential. The group shown above is after 7 clicks right, 7 up for a ten shot group as rapidly as I could pull the trigger and feel a reset. Aguila yellow box (std vel) ammo @ 50 yards and winds are gusting to 20 mph here today. I am impressed with this little carbine.
