So, I guess the firing out-of-battery problems that got them banned from Appleseed has been corrected?Yep, converting over to S&W 15-22's from my 10/22's after I got @longfastglass rifle 3 years ago. Great shooters!

Correct sir. You may now shoot the M&P 15-22 at an Appleseed. I plan to shoot the next at MRGC later this year with this rifle. Last time I participated I shot an old Winchester Model 75 bolt action target rifle. So, I guess the firing out-of-battery problems that got them banned from Appleseed has been corrected?
Muh ten twenty-two will outshoot those groups every day and twice on Sundays!
Why are you trying to scare the general public with that weapon of war???
Took it out again today since it was so cool outside. Put the Huntertown Arms Guardian suppressor on it and it is a real pleasure to shoot. Doesn't group well with Automatch but CCI sub sonic are awesome. Any match grade ammo seems to be good to go to.My 10/22's will forever have a home but I'm a fan of the 15/22 also. It is always a hit with friends/family when I pull it out and it does great suppressed. It recently persuaded my BIL and his son in law to both purchase one.
The pistol version is an even shorter, more compact fun factor.
Not sure how old yours is but there was a recall regarding the bolt face counter bore where the rim sits.
Gee mister, are you from the future?View attachment 4266309View attachment 4266310View attachment 4266311View attachment 4266315
I have played with 15-22 but staying loyal to 10/22 action and various configurations.
