Your Favorite (or not) Gun Shop. Let’s Hear It!

When we want something we have two go to gun shops.

1) GEORGIA GUN STORE, MIKE, KELLIE, CHRIS, THEY ARE ALWAYS HELPFUL, and we usually always spend too much...However their prices are very reasonable that's the reason we spend to much.

2) When going south, just gotta stop by and say Hello, To the man "BO" what great guy and very knowledgeable and allows you to take your time and look at anything you wish to see too...

Have you ever dealt with Bo's brother? You will not meet a better guy. I love that place.

Have you ever had the pleasure of getting invited down stairs, that is a MECCA OF GUNS, THEY HAVE SOME CUSTOM WEATHERBY RIFLES, down there that's makes me drool like a hungry dog...

BO, and his brother, are just great JAWJA GENTS, and will answer your questions very politely, as to way
other stores handle customers LIKE THE CUSTOMER IS A @#@#$$% INTRUSION TO THEIR DAY.

We were raised, that the "CUSTOMER" IS THE PERSON WHO IS YOUR BOSS, THE CUSTOMER HAS YOUR PAY CHECK IN THEIR POCKET, DO EVERYTHING, legally, morally, and ethically correct to earn it, be polite, and only tell them the truth. THE CUSTOMER MAY NOT LIKE THE TRUTH HOWEVER THEY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU DID TELL THEM THE TRUTH.

And depending on how the customer was treated they will/will not return time after time to do business with place that treats them respectfully...

I’ve seen a few shout-outs to gun shops in the past but am curious as to what y'alls favorites, or not, are and why. For instance, I live on the east side and like Clyde’s Armory in Athens. They always greet me when I come in and are usually really helpful. Franklin's down the road is the exact opposite and is full of @sshats IMO.

What are some really good local shops to do business with when talking both price and customer service? Figure this could be both entertaining and informative. Fire away.

(Pardon if this has been asked before)
I have Clyde’s in Warner Robins, they are always nice, but pricey on used stuff

My Favorites are The Foxhole, Big Gun Shop and Georgia Gun Store. Always treated very well and go back anytime I am in the area. Haven't got a chance to see Foxhole's new store yet. I think Kevin is getting ready to close his doors at Big Gun. It'll be a sad day. Stopped in at Sporting Arms and was impressed with their selection. seemed like nice people too.

Cherokee Gun and Pawn are great, Adventure Outdoors have gone down hill, their overhead is probably higher since moving to the bigger store, I think they had better deals when they were at the old location.
Franklins has also went down hill, their prices are not as good as they used to be.

I've bought a few things from there. Barrows and justin's are the only things i'm going to miss in butler.

Barrows is great. Bow Barrow is a good guy to deal with. I have bought many guns from Bow. Another good store is Howards in Macon. Also Bullseye in Lawrenceville.

If you want to be treated rudely by less than intelligent "know it alls", then you have to visit Moss Pawn. I have lived on the southside for years and have never bought anything from Moss Pawn and probably never will. Great place NOT to visit.
