Your Favorite (or not) Gun Shop. Let’s Hear It!

I just discovered Simpson Ltd online a few days ago, I hope they're good an reputable because I now have a few things on the way. Never really heard them mentioned on here.

And it was actually a bargain.
Janie was a Fanatic about Christmas and had a separate room just for it..Bride always loved going there, I still have two coke bottle openers. One that collects the tops when take them off that mounts to the wall and the other is old style also but the tops you have to catch..

Just curious. When I was growing up in Cherokee Co. back in the 80's, one of my favorite places to go was Bargain Barn just south of Jasper. What happened with them?

I loved going in the orig store on old 5. They had it all.

The new BB is nothing like it used to be. I was in there a few months ago looking for a Sig 229 and the salesman was more concerned about trash talking the city council than showing me a gun.

Yes, that location is what I remember the most. I was actually at that store the day the Braves won the worst to first pennant in the early 90's and they announced it over the store intercom. God I'm getting old....

Remind me and we will talk, she invited me for several years to, exhibition bow shoot there..She was a kind sole put me up at the Bed and Breakfast over the bridge on main...She also had a big dinner for all that help her for the show..

Ga Gun Store by far, have yet to find a better place.

I'm surprised people are recommending Bullseye in Lawrenceville, place is a ****hole with a staff that couldn't be bothered to throw water on you if you were on fire.

True and true. But they do have good prices on new inventory a lot of times. I usually call first, then go be ignored and talked down to if I can get a deal because I work very close to there.

The owner, I assume, of a South Floyd County gun shop was talking to a young guy sitting at the display case when I made my first visit to the shop last year. No sooner than I walked in and closed the door behind me, the owner looked up and without saying hello or anything else asked me, "If a man has sex only once with another man is he gay?" Apparently this was the subject of their conversation. I said, "I don't know. I just came by to look at what you have in stock." I stood there sort of stunned, staring into one of the cases for a few seconds. I can't even remember now what was in it. I turned and walked out the door.

Who dafuq does that in a retail establishment with a stranger? :der:
