Your very first motorcycle?

Don't get me wrong, it's just that many folks who get an 883 soon decide they want more power, torque etc. installing a 1200 conversion is a lot cheaper than buying another scooter

last bike i had. 2001 honda sabre. that girl would scream. good times.

Wait until you get older, lol, that surge of power will kill ya!
LOL That surge of power will just as likely kill me now! The only reason I dont see myself on one later is because for less money I can get the same comfort or better with FAR more power. The zx14 concours is probably gonna be my next big buy. I mean its got hella power and comfort to match a goldwing but can still throw it around a good bit...

I"d guess this was around 1975? Honda QA50 at some friends place...

fast forward many years to my first street bike. 1989 Honda Hawk GT NT650. Loved that little thing. custom pipe and some accessories and I went racing with WERA around 2000. Raced the hawk for a while then an SV. Since then quite a few hawks (I think I've had 5 or 6), the SV race bike, two R6's, Road King, KTM 200, 450XC and 950 Super Enduro, 2008 CBR1000rr and a few mini bikes. Mostly ride dirt and dual sport these days. This photo was from one of my first races at Roebling Road in Savannah. Did the Ed Bargy School and raced the same weekend. first time on the track (wasn't really such a thing as "track days" back then).

my last hawk. CBR900rr front end, VFR rear wheel, Ohlins rear shock, custom left exit exhaust, V-rod headlight, etc. etc. All of 50hp but it was awesome.
