I just found out how to use the IR ditector and it still works on the scope. It illuminates the reticle and show a green like blob. Pretty cool that it still works and from what I have read it is fairly rare for the scopes to still have the feature since they got deleted in the late 1980's.
I have no practical use for it. But is cool to know how to use it and have it work. I tried for about 30 min to get a picture of it but it just ain't going to happen.
