    I can only recommend what I have. Warlock 2 : lightweight but only for 22 Rugged oculus and CGS Hydra SS HEAVIER BUT rated for 17hmr and 22mag and some others I believe . I like them all.

    I've got one in jail. I won one at NFA review shoot this year. I did shoot a 17 with it on there, but there was too much unsuppressed fire at that time to get a good feel for it. $400 bucks seem like a great price as that is half retail!

    I believe you will be just fine! One thing to note from my experience so far. I built a CMMG ar PISTOL with the 4.5 barrell and the rugged oculus tucked under the rail. I shot the heck out of for a couple a weeks and holy moly at the buildup on the blast baffle!

    I was considering doing this with my 1522, but then built a pistol brace version with the CMMG carrier and adapter to use the 1522 Mags. Did you have to do some trimming on your lower receiver to make the aftermarket handguard work?

    M&P 22c is definitely one of my favorites. Being able to shoot my 308 bolt gun without earmuffs to take a couple shots is dang nice too.
