I wonder if corn media or anything smaller that can pass through the flash hole effect the primer going off? I've never tumbled primed brass but I always get media stuck in the flash holes.

Try taking out the pins on the tool head, you'll notice the tool head will scoot in a little more into the press. I usually leave mine out as I've crushed many many cases. Also try tightening the lock ring on the decap/sizer with the ram all the way up

Looks like X-treme bullets are starting to make thier own primers. They have started a pre order for a 223 bundle of 5k 55 fmj and 5k primers for 1080.00. They say consistency is similar to cci brand primers. Looks like pricing is gonna be around .10 a pop

You can also print a case feed and primer feed stop. Im over in Toccoa and have a bullet feeder i could test your print on.

Go blue! Add a Mr bullet feeder if you want to go faster!! Thier warranty is no bs, something breaks or malfunctions they will take care of it.

Im sure you can plug a oscilloscope to it and get some readings and figure it out, but your gonna need a working crono measuring after it. imo, the adapter would be the cheaper faster route. How about developing one using 2 lasers for detection, that would be interesting
