I did some 6.8 today. Barnes 85 gr. frangible loads. Should be pretty hot right at max recommendation. I will shoot a few of these and see howitzer goes. LOL 6.8 spc will handle hotter loads so I have a little room to wiggle. Should be right at 3000 fps. but I think I can tweak it and get it above 3100 fps.

Next up to work on will be a few hundred .350 Legend plinking rounds.
Reloading is about the only way you u can just plink with. Those rounds are getting ridiculously high off the shelf. Especially 450 Bushmaster. Most of those alternative rounds for the AR15 platform are very high. The 6.8 and 6.5 Grendel are about the only two still within sane parameters. The bigger heavier rounds have just went into the stratosphere in price.

That’s one of the reasons I went with .350 Legend for my second AR. It works great W296 and H110 powders that I already for .357 Magnum, and 147gr 9mm projectiles make great plinking rounds and I always keep plenty of them around. I also already have plenty of small rifle primers laying around. I just had to buy brass.

Got a load of .40S&W shells in the wash, after I get them out of the dryer, I'll load up a bunch.
Last week was .223 shell prepping...
