any pulsating of gauges we have a problem

make sure your fans working both them ac and engine on your car
Did you happen to blow thru the expansion valve ? I have got bad ones off the shelf and I refuse to use any eBay ac parts
Hope it’s a Honda part of not replace it
5.5 is a total if everything is new and replaced per your model
Did you wrap the expansion valve with dum dum so when it’s pumping through the evaporator core and causing vibration it will not make noise ? Chattering maybe your sound ?

To much oil can make Weird sounds same as low oil
Ac compressor is like a engine
if it’s low oil it can make knocking sounds
But with weird sounds you have i think has to much but without putting my heads on and feeling it not sure

there is always oil you can’t get out
per your total I am sure you are over full

correct way is take old compressor and drain it have to spin clutch few god times get all you can out
Measure it
do the math what new one needs and old on has and that’s how much you add
New condenser needs its oil so add around 1.0 oz read specs I am off...
Check engine light code first before wasting time and money on something you don’t need
you said tune up you was going to do , make sure replace fuel filter at that time too
