Late to the Porn party. This the Academy sports tungsten edition with the 15 round OEM magazine.
I added the Romeo Zero 3 MOA. I’m more happy with a gun than I am with the red dot.
Hey that’s no way to treat a NATO ally. I have two Turkish pistols The Canik TP9 Elite SC and a SAR 9. I can’t speak for Canik in military trials but Sarsilmaz is a major defense supplier to the NATO countries (and probably a few of our enemies.)
Somebody else said it but I have never owned a...
Thanks for that. I’d like to know what you see. Tonight or tomorrow I’m going to remove the slide and take the optics lid off.
I didn’t want to open the RZ packaging until I was sure it would co witness. It was $140 , a good $160 less than the Shield RMSc or a Swampfox or Vortex on a $350...
I’m like that, don’t hesitate to mod, I had a post up here a while ago showing how to fashion a magazine baseplate-stop out of a PCI slot cover from an old pc. This was for an old Zastava M1970 7.65 Browning tack-driver.
Definitely want to keep the rear b/o sight and have it cowitness through the RZ with the front sight. I thought the idea was to not use any mounts, but is metal on metal a good idea? Nothing in between won’t hurt the finish? Wait the RZ is polymer maybe not.
And, yes I already received the RZ...
Than you this is instructive. It is obvious Canik under produced magazines. I’m all about mods, but please lay out your costs versus buying one for $50 on optics planets.
I’ve seen several deeply discounted Romeo Zeros 1300 optics lately for sale. Does this drop in to an Rms-c footprint or do I use the included mount plate on a Canik TP9 Elite SC? I cannot find clear instructions from Canik or Sig.
With hot ammo and smaller frame even though it’s all steel I would guess that’s it’s A little snappy.
Even an all steel .32 ACP Zastava M70 I have has that “aluminum baseball bat” rings to it.
Here’s my issue with duty sized 9mm’s. Body printing. The PCR would be the same size as my SAR 9 about 7x5x1 is a lot to hide. I rarely carry it. I’m tall and thin and don’t hide bulk well. I was appendix carrying a PT111 but switched to SOB. Even then it takes a baggy shirt.
Gives me pause to think or I’m going to spend my money too fast. You know that cash rush feeling after you sell a gun. Well I sold Two on Monday. I am going to go test fire the P365, I am going to shoot the G43x too but don’t want another striker gun. I like the lines of the P365 streamlined...
I’m trying to predict or gauge my expectations on how much better performance will be in terms of trigger characteristics, muzzle lift / mitigating recoil. going from my current Sar 9 which I love but it still feels like another $399 Euro polymer player. Going up to a $700 9mm HK P30 or Hellcat...
Good advice that I will follow. I am ready to add another couple of hundred dollars more to get to a new level of performance. Some where between Full size and compact. DA/SA single stack probably. In 9mm not .40I I like the Springfield Hellcat but it seems to be just another polymer gun.
Purdy is the word(y). The Rami has some 1911-like themes and style to it too, like the hammer and the beaver tail. except for the DA part. It is a handsome gun.
