I was lucky enough to have my name pulled for the first Goose hunt in Georgia years ago. I bought a 10 gauge Browning pump for it, I shot one goose at Lake Juliette and shot three shells. I still have twenty two shells left. The gun kicks so bad I haven’t shot it since, shakes the core of soul.
The information on the rifles doesn’t include a round count. This is a piece of information that is a make of break for me. Because the count is unknown, I’m going to pass.

I hunted with a 300WM Browning for several years. I went to test fire it before deer season, I pulled the trigger and my whole body jerked. I didn't have a round loaded. I jerked for no reason other than I was anticipating the recoil, or just scared of the recoil , I've gone to a .308
