Shame on the trash. Been seeing a lot of trash at the parking areas on the river in Habersham County. People are pigs and calling them Trash is an understatement.
River or stream Trout fisherman- if you catch and release, do you do it in this air temperature (85-95+)?
Reason I ask is, the larger trout outfitters shut down in the heat of the summer months. It was explained to me that when water temps hit 68 degrees and higher, the oxygen levels drop...
After reading this thread and going through some of the same issues, I picked up a decoy blue heron to ward off the real bad ones. Crossing my fingers it works.
Looks like one was almost poached but lost a good chunk of his face!!!
Locals hate them as they eat the trout up, or try to, here in N. GA. They say they are not indigenous to this area. Old timers prefer them all be dead, as one mentioned to me.

Dumbass question- been reading that Trout fly fishing in the dead heat of the summer is no good for catch and release as it stresses the fish too much.
If so, does fishing in the early AM or late PM work for them (Trout) with regards to more O2 in the water?
Jumped at the chance for a relaxing lifestyle.
Allan, you are more than welcome to come fish if you are up in the area! You are probably the only person outside of family Griffin likes!
