“The dip” for suppressor baffle cleaning

Any acid/cleaner that can remove lead, copper, even carbon should be treated with respect.

I have known guys who regularly handled cyanide and mercury with out the proper safety equipment because it took longer.
Not this fella, I will take all day if need be.

The fumes can be just as bad from any acid or reagent and possibly carcinogenic.
A fan blowing away from you is a good idea as well as nitrile gloves and safety glasses.

Looking at cleaning a Spectre II Can:
Would this be the appropriate setup?

Could this same setup be used on an Osprey .45 or a CZ .22 Rimfire can?
(Edit: Disregard the question about the Osprey, found an old thread with some advice on cleaning it from 2013)

I've heard that .30 cal cans don't need to be cleaned due to the high pressure/heat of the round - Is that true?
Looks good to go! I haven't used that brass stuff. I do exactly what @sovietak474u said to do and got great results. My tumbler is cheaper and probably worse than what you picked out on amazon. https://www.harborfreight.com/3-lb-rotary-rock-tumbler-67631.html?_br_psugg_q=tumbler
