Dumb question I know.. but is it low of oil.. my wife’s car will do that.. the code refers to thick oil

Never dumb to ask...I just had an oil change with Mobil One Synthetic a month ago and pressure is great as usual. But thanks for asking.

My local mechanic said that you can remove both battery terminals and touch them together for about 5 minutes and that should clear anything that the computer may have stored. May be worth a try.........

Buy your own cheap ODBIII reader and check the codes yourself.

Did you check the manual with the light to make sure it is the check engine light and not some other light?

Check eng light came on,,All runs and preforms great. I took it to two different places to have it scanned and they said their was no codes..Both suggested that the gas cap had possibly built up pressure..I had to top it off and when I removed the cap their was no pressure..I replaced it and it is still on..Suggestions?

I can come up on Saturday or Sunday if you want? If it has had a code I can pull it.
