As a much younger man used to attend the Camel GT every year. Way back when the GTX (grand touring experimental) and GTP (grand touring prototype) classes used to run.

I remember those days, as well. I remember when Paul Newman introduced us to a young Hollywood actor (Tom Cruise) who raced here. He proceeded to clean every ditch out of the esse's, hit everything but a hundred and carried that grin to a last place finish. Never seen a Datsun (Nissan) with that much bent sheet metal still running! Good days, indeed!
