Had 2 does cruise by just before light. I've had what sounds to be a young buck grunting over a ridge for awhile now.

Got in at 6:45 this morning, and started seeing does within 10 minutes. Had deer continuously until 8:15, when a couple of bulldozers showed up about 300 yards away to replant pines on a cutover. Saw 11 does and one scrub buck, but when the noise started, everybody left. Guess I will hang out for a while, cause you just never know.

I've seen countless deer while on tractors and equipment. Stick around for sure. I bet they didn't go far. Sometimes curiosity gets the best of them....
