I got this 10 point at 8am this morning in an oak flat walking his rub line.
3 minutes after I shot this a big 8 point was on the same trail.
I let him walk for another day.

I saw two big ones chasing a doe at 10:00 this morning, Coweta county. I may have had a chance with my rifle but I had the 44 pistol.

First time out in a couple weeks. Got a huge patch a mountain laurel to my left. I saw bend down spot as I walked in, so hopefully something will happen. Although the wind is blowing in the wrong direction

I've been hunting the hell out of 48 this year. I might go look for some spots in 49 next weekend. Looks good in there. Really pisses me off they haven't opened the small arms area. All my big deer came out of there. If you are ever in 48 and see a red chevy, that's probably me.

Ironically we have a red 89 silverado or white sierra. I Prefer those areas but we do have other options. If I notice more than 3 in 48 , I go somewhere else.

Just shot a huge body buck. Not going to be a trophy cause he missing one whole antler, but the way the people southeast of us are trying to wipe everything out, I figured I may not get another shot at a deer that large this season.

Pics after I recover him. Pretty sure he already dead, but he did manage to get back up and stumble into the woods, so I'm giving him a little time before I go looking.
