Young buck cruising is all I saw this morning. Skipped afternoon hunt to watch football.

Oh gotcha. Had that xtrema texture look to it. I had one and got rid of it. Terrible mistake! I loved that gun.

Finally got on the books tonight at extreme last light with the Excalibur ….bout time.
No escape from the double lung/heart…, 20 yard pile up….
Was hoping it wasn’t the spike I watched tending a scrape for an hour earlier.

First day back in the woods since the 12th. Morning & evening combined - 3 armadillo, 6 doe, and 1 barred owl.
