11/7 Deer Hunt

Good luck folks. Didn’t get much sleep last night so I took the morning off. I’ve been living up to my username lately so I figured I better tend to some things around the house that need attention.
I'm at the property till Friday so hoping to see something this week. Didnt see anything this morning. I dont think we are even approaching pre rut down south where I hunt.
saw a lone doe at 6:50am and that was it.Freshened up 7 scrapes with some killdee juice and put a new ladder over on the roadbed.
Got in the stand late, about 8:30. At 9:00 a doe came through leading a 4 pointer. He went home with me.
Congratulations. Gave the woods a rest today. Post up some pics for those of us needing a fix.
I was called into work last night and did not get to finish the Hard Labor creek quota hunt. That dampened my day way more than all this rain.
I won't be back out there until mid next week. It will be heating up down at my south Ga honey hole, and I will get 3 full days of good times, which is a lot for me these days.
