When people say their Brazilian Mauser has a "in the white" receiver...what does that mean. Noticed some pitting under the wood line, nothing too bad, but is apparent. Anyone have concerns with shooting an old rifle like this with pitting?

In the white means no finish on the receiver i.e... shiney bare metal. This is typical of Brazilian and Argentine Mausers. Pitting under the woodline is also typical
