Yous may have the controller on the frame above the spare tire That controls the speed of the pump
The geniuses at ford mounted the aluminum controller to the steel frame
Any 10 grader could have told em what happens when you bolt dissimilar metals together for a few years
Corrosion. Lots of corrosion
My 04 expy had a bad fuel pump relay in the fuse box
The geniuses also made the fuel pump relay a permanantly soldered to the circuit board
The relay for the power seats is removable. But the important ones are soldered on and can't be replaced
So you have to buy a $300 fuse box
But it's an easy swap. Maybe an hour tops
