This is about half of the candyroasters this year. They store well as long as no worms in them. The ones with worm holes ill cube, roast and make a 'pumpkin beer' and squash soup with them

Our chickens ate the two big pumpkins we had growing. we also had a ton of vine borrers

My wife made some fresh salsa which was great but also looking to can some

I do not but ought to make one up. My FIL eats it most days for lunch lol. That, cheese dip and tortillas.

Had a long day at work yesterday, but still decided to get some canning done before hitting the sack. Got to the last two cans and ended falling asleep in front of the TV. Woke up at 3am to a glass explosion and the dog going nuts. Grabbed the appropriate tools for defending the homestead and charged out headlong to face the threat. I had left the burner on and the last jars of peppers and tomatoes exploded, showering the entire kitchen with glass, veggies, and all the associated juices. Lesson learned…

Yeah, she was pissed. Silver lining- it was a good, real life exercise testing our home intruder protocol. She performed exactly as practiced, so that was reassuring
