You’re not alone. I found out the hard way once when I removed the weighted “jiggler” from the top of a pressure cooker with chicken and dumplings inside. It’s amazing how much fits through that tiny little holeHad a long day at work yesterday, but still decided to get some canning done before hitting the sack. Got to the last two cans and ended falling asleep in front of the TV. Woke up at 3am to a glass explosion and the dog going nuts. Grabbed the appropriate tools for defending the homestead and charged out headlong to face the threat. I had left the burner on and the last jars of peppers and tomatoes exploded, showering the entire kitchen with glass, veggies, and all the associated juices.
