22-250

i just wanna know what yall all think of the 22-250 besides a varmit/yote gun... how about distance shooting?

I used a 22-250 for years. Could only afford one rifle so I used it for groundhogs AND deer. Worked just fine for both. Longest shot at a deer was 177 yards and he fell in his tracks. Killed groundhogs MUCH further. Liked everything about it except the muzzle blast.

when i lived in ca it was the most popular deer gun. knew one guy that routinely killed deer and yotes past 400 yds with a rem 700 in 22-250.

thanks guys... i know academy has a howa ranchhand 22-250 with the coyote sand with hogue stock... with nikko night eater scope for 499 thinking about picking it up
