Looks like muzzy comes in the October 14 rifle October 21
I have not seen where you can kill does in most counties until the 21st
unless I’m missing something

PW usually starts @ 10/15, then last for a week. F/A starts as soon as PW is over and last till 1/14/23/ So when bow season starts till 1/14 you can take either sex for most of the state. Personally I like it that way. I like it when a good buck shows up, more meat. But I'll take a good doe if that's all I'm seeing. I'm a meat hunter first. If it's large enough to justify the processing cost, I'll take it.

Can someone explain the significance of the one extra day (January 15th) for some of the counties in southwest Georgia? Is that new for this season?
They say it could be up to six days according to how calendar falls lol they need it to feb 15th even if season later

These dates make a lot more sense for my area than anything I've seen since moving here. My county usually starts later than the adjacent county and processors are often full when we have our first either-sex day for rifle season.
