300 blk reloaders

i just saw on noslers shooters pro shop website they have 125 grain accubond.
any of you guys use this projectile?
wasnt sure if the expansion threshold would give decent results at 200+ distances.

I would not shoot any 300blk load past 200.

From what I've seen so far, minimum expansion is at 1800fps. That is pretty high considering that the bullet could only start out at around 2300fps. Looks like it was designed to expand at 308 velocities.

agreed... Just not enough juice and energy at distance. For a hunting rifle on deer or hog, my personal max is 150 yards. This is shooting a 125grn SST out of a 16" barrel over H110. Would it be accurate and kill something further... of course. Just not as efficiently and humanely as I prefer. At the muzzle mine should be around 2200 fps

For my 147 fmjbt plinkers... they drop pretty fast. Those should be around 1800-1900 fps at the muzzle

I stick to 110v-max's over 19.5 of h-110 kills hogs 1 shot out to 100 pretty easy

. Do you mean, would you shoot a deer at 200yds with a 30-30? Depends on the rifle, and the load.

If you are going to make your own 300 blk out, the market is flooded with converted and reformed. We do not use that type ourselves, to many incidents where a 300 blk out was put into a 5.56, slammed the charging handle and boom, at 2 different shooting ranges.

Just be very careful........................... only a suggestion...
