But yeah I get it... Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore ships for free, but they aren't running a sale on G22 trade-ins.
I remember the last gun I bought from there - it was a HiPoint 9mm carbine with extra magazines for $240 shipped.
How about go to an indoor shooting range that rents full autos and spend $20 to rent the gun and blow through $280 worth of ammo? That would be a lot of fun for $300, although near the end of all that shooting the novelty of full auto fire may wear off and you'll have saved yourself from making a $20,000 mistake one day with a real pre-1986 transferable MG.
