What if I want to pick cooked chunks out of nearby trees to eat right there? Would I need some of those hear seeking bullets they're talking about in New York?

That's fine for an appetizer, but it's usually not enough when I'm really hungry. That's when I require a round which will butcher and grill all with one pull of the trigger.

I've used 165gr Nosler Ballistic Tips with great success. They've been as accurate as match bullets, and make nasty holes and exit wounds.

The Nosler ballistic tips work very well in the .308 win. both 150s and 165s.
I have been impressed with the Accubonds in several other calibers. The 110s are awesome from the 25-06. The ones I have shot in 30 caliber thus far were 180s from a 30-06 and .300rum. I've been meaning to buy some lighter ones (165gr) and try em out in .308. I have no doubt with the performance I have seen so far they will perform well.

Remington Core-Lokt are hard to beat. But Barnes TSX work great too.
