.357SIG: What’s the point of this cartridge?

I’ve always been a 357 Sig fanboy...but I am changing. The numbers don’t lie.

The FBI’s newest 9mm load is impressive especially when compared to the 357 Sig.

Compared the 9mm 135 gr. +p to the 357 Sig from Hornady..

So at what point are enough +s added so that it’s nit really a 9mm anymore?

At the end of the DAY it comes down to personal preference and what the firearm is used for OR combined usage for those of us that cannot afford multiple guns. I use SIG P229 .357 Sig / Modified DW Razorback 10MM Underwood Ammunition in a combination of bullet designs loaded in multitude of magazines. Knowing I am confident and very accurate. Best of luck with 9mm/.40cal/.380cal it is easy to aquire and inexpensive but not for me. I shoot things that move to kill quickly.

If you add enough +'s and P's it eventually turns into a .357sig.

I can't argue that, but I would argue that a hot round of .357sig still has more power than any +p 9mm.
