380 ACP / 9MM Die Question

I have what I hope is a simple question. Can I use my 9mm dies to safely load 380 ammo?

The reason I ask is that I don't want to buy a set of 380 dies and I think about the other dies that can be used to load the same diameter bullets with a shorter case: 38 / 357, 40 / 10MM, 44Spl / 44Mag, etc. Anyone have any knowledge they can share? Thanks

The ones you mentioned are straight wall cases and the 9MM and 380 have a slight taper so a 9mm die will not size a 380 enough.

Yeah I probably shouldn't be such a cheapo lol. I will definitely be purchasing a set of dies.

Don't do it. The 380 are smaller in dimension than the 9mm. Your 9mm sizing die won't size it down and your projectile will not fit right

Pa is a great state for hunting and fishing and outdoor activities in general.

9 MM cases are pretty heavily tapered , while the 380 case is near straight walled.
