69 Camaro rewired!

Remember many early Camaros with electrical problems 35-40 years ago,had a 67 with no problems, but my 68 had a few problems, friend had just had hi 68 painted and it burned as he pulled into work one night, believe he was crying that night.

Automotive electrical is a big pia.

I installed fuel injection in my 71 cougar convert.
I made up a harness for the computer, used 48 wires iirc about 7ft long. Glad thats over with.

As far as wiring goes, it's really not. Access is the main issue. I've learned from restoring cars that if there's an electrical issue, pull it all out and start over.

So, my very close friend had a Camaro built... and I mean BUILT! Resto-Rod with a supercharged LS3, completely new suspension, just a phenomenal car... except... the builder was not an electrical wiz. There were electrical gremlins everywhere and worse yet... there wasn't an audio system!!

So... I REWIRED IT! (grunt)

It was a fun project, took about 45 days and about 60 man hours to get it done (sorry, I have a real job too!). There were several 'one step forward, two steps backwards' but it all worked out!

With any luck, this car will be at the Caffeine and Octane show this Sunday... if we have time!

hell it was only six circuits in that thing with air LOL!
