8 pt down- can’t find him

Shot an 8 point. Blood tracked 20 yards then stopped. Bright blood. Can’t seem to find him. He did stand still for a few minutes then took off. Dammit! 2nd time this happened

When did you shoot him? How long did you wait before attempting to track? Give him a bit then start making expanding circles around the last blood.

I wasn't going to go there! ( With range time that is ) Maybe a ammo change is in order. The vital area of a deer is a pretty good size. Maybe your scope is off? Yeah!
