9mm Berdan primed cartridge ID

Agreed.
We first considered some sort of rectangular-pinned SMG but after finding a few cartridges that were chubbed up from a half-vast, semi-supported chambering system, we knew Glock had been involved.

I suspect that ammo is for machine guns and not to be used in most pistols. The generous chambers on a Glock will allow more expansion with an over pressure round.

I'd be curious of the velocity of these particular rounds.

I have a few hundred 9mm's from somewhere in the Middle East.

They are corrosive, have hard primers--not Berdan. Often, they require two hammer strikes to go bang.

They are pretty hot, but no more so than Corbon.

IPSC power factor of just over 150 in a Sig. 226.

The brass seems to be reloadable an infinite number of times.

i "FOUND" a few berdan primed 9mm the other day while decapping some and the wife hit one or two also in the same huge batch of brass...glad she wasnt rockin it out or id be replacing pins a lot more often...had quite a few in the past 6-7mo...hate 'em
