Right on!! Agreed!!!I don’t have a permit and I just pass them by ! When I retire I’ll get a permit as it’s free then ! I passed on two guns this week due to needing permit! If a fellow wants to see permit it’s his business and I just don’t reply!
It certainly is not, but some get all upset about it like you just asked them for a BOS.It’s not an unreasonable request.
I was out of town for work one time...had items listed. dude could only trade 1 day...I had my brother do the meet. worked out really well. we ALMOST look alike anyway, LOL.I had to send my old lady today in my place to sell some model trains. I am coming down with strep and didn't feel like leaving the house, so she did the deal for me.
It all worked out,
That aint all he's got thats famous.Biker13, I'd sell to you all day long and never ask for your ID. Your face is famous.

I've seen this on several ads for firearms on here.......I guess I just don't understand it. Why does a person doing a private sale need to see my ID or CCW?
I did a billosail for an active duty police officer that wanted to use the colt AR I was trading him as a duty weapon. I also did one for a very old dude for a model 28-2...THAT I HAD TO HAVE. both were negotiated before I got in my car to go to the meet. communication is the key.I don’t ask for a bill of sale but I’m not deterred by someone who requests one. I don’t usually ask for a look at ID unless they have zero or low feedback...but I also don’t mind showing mine either, if asked.
Some folks like to make a big deal out of something that isn’t.
There seems to be a lot of folks who cannot grasp the concept of a free and open marketplace where one can move on if they don’t like the deal.
