Try Brave. I went there after FF went wonky. Your Chrome stuff will likely work with brave, as well.

But I'm glad you confirmed that FF is crappy now. Like the idea of helping out the bold innovative entrepreneurs, but FF just sucks now. Too many time outs for bogus reasons. I'm going to transition to Chrome.

Not me. I was just naming block software for the OP and the name was blocked by ODT filters.
I think the OP may like Brave.
I use TOR mostly but have used the AB software with chrome and just installed AB on a family members laptop and phonp.
It's all good software provided your OS and device likes it.
