A2 thread pitch question

I have a Sota Arms 7.62 upper with an A2 flash hider on it.

I assume that the thread pitch is 1/2 28.

Can anyone confirm this?

Also, Is the A2 flash hider big enough to let a 7.62 diameter bullet pass through? Isnt the A2 flash hider a .223/556 muzzle device?

I'm pretty sure that the SOTA 7.62x39 upper is threaded 5/8-24.

I believe somebody was on a thread yesterday (guy was looking for an 5.56 flash hider) saying he had an extra flash suppressor for a 7.62.

I think the standard .308/7.62 thread is 5/8-24 as stated. I have no idea on what SOTA uses though.
