Bhj, I was actually looking at loading their GameKing bullet.

I have found the Softpoint Game King to be a better expanding hunting bullet than the hollow point boat tail Game King.
The hollow point boat tails are uber accurate though and my 116 likes them even better than the match kings.

I haven't used 180's since the early 70's when I started loading 30-06.
I use Win 760, 150 Win Power Points, and Win Primers.
The Data is from a Winchester Loading Book.
Speed is around 2900fps.
I have brought down a bunch of deer with this load in a 742 and my 700.

Load 10 with that dose of powder, starting low and increasing the load, load10 more with an increased dose and so on. Load about a 50 rounds and test them. Pick the pick of the litter. Make sure the neck pressure is uniform when crimping.

Want to specialize, work on bullet seating depth, then it's entering bench rest territory and minute variations that most won't appreciate.

Change powder or bullet and resume.
