Absolutely correct....Rugers have been that way forever and a day.
What would be smart is for someone to make a cheap grip frame for the Rugers and sell separately to all the owners who are buying the base pistol as a can host. But Volquartsen is the only one I know making Ruger grips and they are no where near cheap.
