Android user's. . . . i need answers!

I want to be able to use my earbuds , listening to my music while at work sometimes. The problem i am having is if i get the music on through an app or just from phone , when my screen goes back to screen lock mode . . music cuts off. Is there an app that i can use that won't do this. I cant leave the screen lock off while in my pocket. . i'd be butt dialing everyone. I need to be able to lock the screen without the music cutting off!
Which if any app you know of that i can do that with?

android galaxy. I want to listen to my music. Pandora is ok but i want to hear what i want to hear not just a genre of music

have you looked into iHeart?

+1 for iHeart. I listen to iHeart all day at work and even in my Jeep most of the time too. Pick your station and then lock the screen and stick it in your pocket, no problem.

I use pandora all the time. Once the screen goes to sleep I can still use the exterior button for volume. The rest of the controls are there when I wake the screen up and I can still use the rest of the functions of the phone while pandora plays in the background.

with pandora you just choose like country or rock type of station right. Not individual artists?

You can input a particular artist as your station and it will play them plus anyone that is similar.
