It is strange they pick the churches and schools to attack, basically women and children, the ****ing cowards. They're too afraid to go after a room or building full of men.

It's not strange at all. It's very logical. They want a high victim count.
Predators, especially weak or injured ones (or as you put it, "cowardly" ones), don't like attacking other predators.
They will if they have to but they generally prefer weak, helpless victims that won't fight back.

We spend a lot of time in our classes discussing predator/ prey behaviors.

Criminals almost always profile their victims, whether consciously or unconsciously, during the selection process.

Most schools & churches are like henhouses to a fox w/ no farmer or guarddog present and the door left open.
