Another Million Mile Tundra, a 5.7L this time

Just on the 02 be sure you do the timing belt and LBJ's on time!! I see almost an LBJ failure weekly on the FB tundra groups.

First gens and 2nd gens are great trucks.
I recently replaced the upper and lower control arms plus ball joints on my 2002, the rubber bushings in the control arms had dry rotted. Timing belt service in less than 10,000, so maybe this time next year.

Changing the oil and filter every 5k or sooner is a must.

oh sorry. Lower Ball Joints. They didn't recall the first year or two, but later had one I believe.

Literally every single week almost their is a huge LBJ failure on the first gen. (also the 4 runner had this issue too).

Don't go 200k on the originally LBJ's.
Had mine done on a recall for free at 150000 miles.. and they were still good

Love my Yota.
