This appears to have a lot going for it-

Cheap/proven/available CZ Scorpion mags, rear or side charger (Can "HK Slap" and switch sides), AR triggers (sort of) modular handguards (you can suppress in an "SD" type configuration, 1913 brace/stock compatible, smaller than competing designs- yet longer barrel, novel 2 piece delayed bolt for lower recoil, etc... and (supposedly) already has military contract(s)

As mentioned with the Springfield Kuna- competition tends to drive innovation and lower prices...

It's cool but I'll stick with my Scorpion unless they really come down on the price. New Scorps are $799.00 occasionally. (Used here they are about $1300! )

I'm all for keeping a proven platform- especially with a big aftermarket. :-)

That being said-

I think it and the Springfield Kuna likely will be available at/around $799 street price- based on sub $1k retail and the discounts we see on SAR, Stoeger, etc (The HS2000 was $200ish before it "became" the Springfield XD)

And-/or...

We may see lower prices on Scorpions , AP5s, etc

^ A la the FN five seven once PSA, Ruger, Tisas, Kel Tec threw their hats (and gats) in the ring..
